WHAT TO EXPECT ON SUNDAYS
SUNDAY SERVICE
Our Sunday services typically last 1 hour and 20 minutes and consist of about 30 minutes of worship music and prayer, a brief time for announcements, then about 35 minutes for a Bible-based sermon, and then a brief time for closing and prayer.
While you’re on-site make sure to connect with one of our Serve Team Members. We want to get to know you! You can complete a Connect Card to let us know more about you, share your prayer requests, sign up for your next steps, or to request more information about City on a Hill.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
We are not very particular about what you wear at City on a Hill. After all, God is much more concerned with the heart than with outward appearances. (1 Samuel 16:7)
You’ll find a range of attire on a Sunday morning at City on a Hill from people wearing their Sunday best to jeans and tennis shoes. You might even see some cowboy hats and boots as we are in Texas. So come as you are and we are sure you will fit right in!
WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR KIDS?
If you have children, proceed to the City on a Hill kids building. This is located on the left side of the parking lot. If you don’t see it, feel free to ask one of the greeters at the door, and they will happily walk you over. Your kids will experience God in a new way with our kids worship, the study of the Word of God, and participating in fun activities and games.
At the Kids Check-in, someone will meet you and ask for the name and date of birth of each of your children. Then they will print a sticker to place on your child, which will identify them. You will also receive a sticker that matches your child’s. You’ll show your sticker after service to pick up your kids.

Attending church on Sundays couldn’t be easier at City On a Hill. We have a friendly smile waiting to greet you, a fresh cup of coffee waiting for you, and an easy and safe check-in process for your children.
